In today’s mass produced world we always find it refreshing to see up-cycling of products and materials, especially of such an iconic product – the Coca-Cola contour bottle.

The original bottle was designed by Earl R Dean in the early 1900′s and just recently Japanese designer Nendo re-interpreted the iconic design for Tokyo design exhibition Designtide.  The Japanese designer saw beauty in up-cycling the mint green glass to create their ‘Bottleware‘ range of bowls, platters and vessels.
