‘Daphine’, the first lamp for Lumina, was designed in 1973 by the company’s founder Tommaso Cimini and was presented the same year at the Fiera Campionaria in Milan. To this date Lumina makes light fixtures with quality craftsmanship and a design philosophy where less is more. The lamp represents essential and elegant design with exposed components including it’s recognisable transformer as the base. The Daphine is described as “a small lamp for a great light” and is a favourite of Belgian designer, Vincent Van Duysen, not to mention our own Share Design team who have the Daphine in their own homes.
Share Design is thrilled to announce that ECC Lighting + Furniture is kindly GIVING AWAY a Lumina Daphine table lamp to one Share Design subscriber.

This is one of my all time favourite lamps ! ( hopefully sponsors aren’t excluded from the draw )
Floods of light just where one needs it without all the hardware or flourish. Both beautiful and useful.
Thanks for your comments Sheila and Lara. Please post these comments on the Share Design Facebook page for the chance to win this beautifully refined lamp.
Amazing! I’m genuinely enjoying the style and design of your blog. Are you using a custom template or is this freely available to all individuals? If you do not want to say the name of it out in the general public, please contact me. I’d really like to get my hands on this template!
Thanks.
