Always living in houses designed by himself, Rainer built his summer house in 1958 in St. Margarethen, Burgenland. Roughly hewn limestone blocks from an old roman quarry nearby form the walls of the striking home. A minimalistic interior, warmth is created by rich textures, timbers and natural materials.
